Online Art Therapy

I am an online healing facilitator, specialized in expression through art via virtual means of communication. Many of my current clients have shown expression of participating in their art therapy consultations via Skype in the comfort of their own home. I can reach out to you and connect with you anywhere in the world. I welcome individuals of all ages and backgrounds. Private or group sessions via Skype can be arranged.

IMPORTANT – Online therapy may not be suitable be people experiencing acute distress or those who need on going relationship and support with a Health Care Worker. I will refer any client on in these circumstances.

What will I require?

You will need to have access to a computer and a good Internet bandwidth speed. You will also need a camera which is either inbuilt to your computer or purchased separately. The next step is to download Skype, which is a free service on Skype
Skype allows both the client and myself to interact via verbal and video communication. My sessions are conducted in English. No art experience is needed.

What art materials will I need?

All that you need to start with are a packet of pastels or crayons and paper. Other materials can be purchased as the sessions progress, however always use your own recyclable materials where possible. Within my therapy sessions I also use alternative healing techniques including meditation so it is best to be in a quiet room within your house.

How does an Art Therapy Session work?

We will talk about what you are experiencing and the goals that you would like to reach with your sessions and you will be guided to work creatively from there. All inquiries in terms of further information as to how Creative Arts Therapy works are always welcome.

Duration of sessions

Each session lasts approximately 60 minutes. I prefer to book 3-4 sessions in with new clients. The client and myself will then review our progress and determine how often further sessions will be conducted. I am also open to booking a single session only. The amount of sessions is entirely dependent on the client and their individual needs. Each client is guided through his or her own healing and awareness. Each client learns to empower themselves towards positive change through the expression and awareness of understanding their own patterns and behaviours. Learning about yourself through the expression of art will allow meaning of your experiences in life to naturally emerge.

*As a therapist I do not fix people’s problems but rather facilitate their concerns through a collaborative and creative process.

How do I book a session?
